Ellibs
In Ellibs, you will primarily find literature in Finnish and Swedish. There is also a small collection of English literature.
Ellibs will be discontinued after the summer. New holds cannot be placed after 29th of April. A new service to borrow e-books is the E-library, which is a shared service for Finland’s municipalities.
Overdrive - foreign eBooks
OverDrive mainly contains literature in English, but also some literature in Finnish and Swedish. There is also reading for children and young people.
Overdrive will be discontinued by the end of the year. New holds cannot be placed after 1st of July. In the future, you can borrow e-books from the shared service for Finland’s municipalities, E-library.

Overdrive also offers books and audiobooks in Swedish.
Naxos Spoken World Library
You can listen to audiobooks in English and German.
Celia
Celia offers audiobooks for people with reading disabilities. You can register as a Celia user in the library. Read who is entitled to use Celia (in Finnish).
Magazines
PressReader
PressReader offers thousands of magazines and newspapers from around 120 countries and in 60 languages. Their catalogue includes the newspapers The Guardian, Svenska Dagbladet and The Washington Post, as well as magazines T3, Auto Express and Mollie Makes. You can read the magazines anywhere.
ePress
Epress (previously eMagz) contains more than 80 domestic magazines and a few newspapers such as Anna, Kotiliesi, Suomen Kuvalehti, Tekniikan Maailma, Maaseudun Tulevaisuus and Iltalehti. You can read the magazines anywhere.
Reading magazines in libraries:
Remote access to the ePress service will be discontinued on July 1st. Domestic magazines can be read in the E-library, a shared service for Finland’s municipalities. ePress service for newspapers, only available in the libraries, continues.

On Medici.tv, you can watch thousands of top-quality videos of concerts, operas and ballets, as well as documentaries and educational material.
Naxos Music Library
Naxos Music Library (NML) is the world's largest online classical music library. The service currently offers almost 190,000 CDs of music and more than 2.8 million pieces of classical music.

Rockway
Learn to play, sing and record whether you are a beginner or an advanced player. There are 69 video courses on various topics, from guitar playing to vocal technique.
Language courses
Promentor
Promentor's course selection includes elementary and advanced courses that are suitable for independent study. The largest selection is in domestic languages and English. The language selection includes: Finnish, English, Swedish, Spanish, German, Russian, Italian and French.
Naxos Spoken Word Library
The Naxos Spoken Word Library, which specializes in e-audiobooks, contains dozens of language courses in audiobook format. You can find the courses by tapping on the "Language" heading in the menu.
OverDrive
The e-book service OverDrive has a wide selection of e-books and audiobooks intended for language study.
Databases
EEBO - Early English Books Online
Digitized English literature from 1473–1700. You can only use this database on a library computer.
Naxos Music Library
Classical music online service and data bank. You can access the database from anywhere by logging in with your Library card number.
Nationalencyklopedin
Swedish encyclopedia. You can access the link above from anywhere. The Vantaa, Espoo and Helsinki library computers have their own link and Kauniainen has their own.
NetMOT word library
High-quality dictionaries in different languages including English, Swedish, German, French, Spanish and Estonian). Not in use in Vantaa.
